Orman
botaniği ( taksonomi, morfoloji, bitki fizyolojisi vb.),silvikültür, bitki
sosyolojisi, fidan yetiştirme teknikleri, doğal ormanların gençleştirilmesi,
ağaçlandırma, orman bakımı konusunda araştırmalar yapmak ve araştırma fidanlığı,
arboretum ve benzeri tesislerin projelerini hazırlamak, kurmak ve yönetmek.
